Eventide has updated its logger and archiving system software to Version 1.3, giving communications professionals network attached storage capabilities for effortless system back up and instant recall. Version 1.3 will improve efficiency of call centers by streamlining the process of archiving messages. With the addition of distributed storage capability, Version 1.3 enables users to instantly archive all messages to a networked hard drive. As each call comes in, the logger records the message to its local hard drive. With Version 1.3, the logger simultaneously archives the message to a networked archive hard drive where the call can be backed up for permanent storage. When the local drive reaches capacity and must be cleared, the archiving process is already achieved and users can simply clear the local drive without the worry of losing past messages.
